Meet Our Lay Chaplain
At the heart of Catholic Life at Ullathorne is our Lay Chaplain, Lauren, who plays a vital role in supporting the spiritual development and wellbeing of our school community.
Lauren works closely with students, staff, families, local parishes and the wider community to ensure that our mission is lived out each day:
"To be an active Christian community of love and service where all feel they belong and are valued. We will help each other to recognise the gift of God within us, to search for excellence and foster the development of our true self."
Through prayer, liturgy, retreats, chaplaincy activities and charitable outreach, Lauren provides opportunities for students to explore their faith, reflect on their values and grow in their relationship with God. She encourages young people to put faith into action by serving others, embracing social justice and living out the Gospel in their daily lives.
Lauren supports students of all faiths and backgrounds, creating a welcoming space where everyone feels listened to, valued and respected. Whether leading prayer, organising liturgical celebrations, supporting charitable initiatives or simply being available to talk, she helps to nurture the strong sense of community that makes Ullathorne such a special place.
