MAC Board Clerk/ Administrator
The Board of Directors of the Holy Cross Multi Catholic Academy Company are seeking to appoint to the post of Clerk Administrator to the Board.  The successful candidate will support the governance and administration of the Multi Academy Company and will need to be prepared to work across all schools and to attend meetings in the evenings during term time. The post will be based at Holy Cross Catholic MAC Head Office and the successful candidate will work closely with the  Catholic Senior Executive Leader to support the administration of Board meetings. Experience of clerking at Board level is essential.  

The successful applicant will: 
•    provide advice and guidance to the MAC Board on governance, constitutional and procedural matters
•    contribute towards the efficient functioning the governing board and its committees by providing:
               o    administrative and organisational support to the MAC Board and central establishment
               o    guidance to ensure that the MAC Board works in compliance with the appropriate legal and regulatory framework,                                   and understands the potential consequences for non compliance 
               o    advice on procedural matters relating to the operation of the MAC Board.
The Holy Cross Catholic MAC Head Office is based on St Augustine’s school site, in Radford, Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to support the Board and the Executive Team and make a significant contribution to the future success of the MAC.

Learning Support Unit Coordinator and Student Mentor

We seek to appoint a hardworking and dynamic Learning Support Unit Coordinator and Student Mentor from September 2021 to oversee the day to day running of our Learning Support Unit under the guidance of our SENDCo. The successful candidate will be

 

  • able to mentor disengaged students

  • able to lead small intervention groups

  • able to inspire and motivate students to achieve their potential

  • have high standards and expectations

  • organised and efficient

  • able to work independently

  • committed to the education of all young people.

 

The position will suit individuals who have experience of working with young people, but not necessarily in a school, and who wish to make a positive difference to the lives of young people.

This will be a temporary contract to cover maternity leave, potentially until the end of the academic year 2021 to 2022.

The Governors wish to appoint an organised and preferably experienced Reprographic Operator to work in our busy and fast paced Reprographic Office. The successful candidate will be able to print letters, worksheets, certificates, booklets,

exam papers, signs, notices, etc. and will

  • be able to work effectively under pressure

  • have good IT skills and be able to use Microsoft packages and reprographic equipment

  • be able to work alone

  • be able to interact and communicate effectively with others.
